#002 — Taking care of your well-being is sexy
Embracing well-being: a journey of mindfulness, music, and personal growth.
Welcome back! We hope you enjoyed our first newsletter. If you haven't seen it yet, take a look here. We would be grateful for any feedback in the comments. It will help us grow and deliver better content to you.
This Wednesday's edition was dedicated to inspiring travel, culinary, and lifestyle experiences. However, we realize that to fully enjoy entertainment, one must take care of their well-being first. That's why we'll focus on that in our Saturday editions. We'll provide you with recommendations to help you develop both professionally and personally. We will also share music, podcasts, books, and films — all geared towards one goal: becoming better every day, one step at a time, in your own pace. In the end, there’s no need to rush greatness!
We wish you a peaceful weekend and happy reading.
See you next week!
Our finds. Take care of yourself! 🧘🏻♂️
✻ We understand that our phones can feel like a cluttered jungle of apps, but believe us when we say: this one is a must-have. Headspace opens the door to mental health support for everyone, regardless of their background or past experiences. With their Headspace app, they provide a treasure trove of mindfulness tools tailored for daily life: from soothing meditations and immersive sleepcasts to invigorating mindful movement and laser-focused exercises.
We’ve also prepared a special, 30-day free access to the full version of the app. Enjoy!
✻ How are you, really? This interactive piece from The New York Times can help you find an honest answer. On this page, you’ll find a series of questions that are meant to get you thinking about different aspects of your life and mental health, and help you identify what’s working and where you might want to make some adjustments. Don’t worry, this self-guided exercise won’t give you any “wellness score” or ranking at the end — but it will certainly help you assess your own mental health and find areas for improvement, so you can live a healthier and more fulfilling life in the end!
✻ A unique brand of ambient Muzak is making waves in the wellness industry, offering a refreshing approach to boosting productivity through sonic experiences. This chill-out music is expertly designed to reset the mind — aiding concentration, promoting better sleep, and enhancing overall well-being. Inspired by these aims, electronic singer-songwriter James Blake has teamed up with the AI-powered app Endel to create his latest album of immersive soundscapes. Dubbed “Wind Down”, the album serves as the ultimate relaxation soundtrack, perfect for winding down before bedtime. With its blend of delicate keys, dreamy synths, and haunting vocals, it takes listeners on a tranquil journey, reminiscent of exploring the enchanting landscapes of a smartphone game like Monument Valley. Acting as a soothing auditory escape, it almost hypnotizes, transporting you to the soothing embrace of the ocean and the expansive skies. In the realm of albums, it's like your soul disconnecting from the daily grind, floating freely into its own realm. Sounds good?

✻ How do you recover from a creative breakup? Ending a creative partnership can be as challenging as a romantic breakup, as James Cartwright, a writer, learned after the disbandment of two bands he was part of in his youth. In this piece, he interviews individuals who have undergone similar experiences to explore how to navigate through and grow from such creative partings.
✻ In the labyrinth of time, we often perceive the past as an immutable relic, a chapter written in stone. But what if the past isn't as steadfast as we assume? Keiichiro Hirano's words challenge our conventional understanding, suggesting that the future holds the power to rewrite history. As we ponder this notion, we unravel the intricate interplay between our present choices and the retrospective lens through which we view our lives. Join us on a journey through the corridors of memory as we explore how the future delicately reshapes the past, uncovering the profound ways in which our perceptions of yesterday are tethered to the possibilities of tomorrow.
As we're on this journey together, it would be an honor to hear what you think about our issues and about things that inspire you. Feel free to suggest topics or share stories you're interested in!

It’s great to see when someone write about crucial meaning of every particular moment which we spent with ourselves. Going to lunch or dinner with myself is one of a lot necessary things which we lost during last two or decades… And we should fight of it. Change our mindset and keep pushing ourselves to be better for ourselves. Why? Because it’s the key to be better for others.
